A standard tour follows a pre-designed itinerary — it's curated, tested and ready to go.

A custom experience starts from scratch or adapts an existing tour around your specific interests, dietary needs, pace or group dynamic. Both are entirely private.

Absolutely. Minor adjustments, such as adapting the pace, focusing on specific artworks or themes, changing a stop, or accommodating accessibility or dietary needs, are usually included.

For more significant changes, a custom experience is the right route.

No minimum. Solo travellers, couples, families and groups of any size are all welcome. Every experience is private regardless of how many people are in your party.

For standard tours, at least 48–72 hours is recommended.

For custom experiences, 2–3 weeks is ideal to allow time to design and refine the itinerary.

For corporate and group events, 3–4 weeks minimum.

• Standard and slightly customized tours: full refund if cancelled more than 14 days before. No refund inside 14 days or within 48 hours.

• Fully custom experiences and corporate events: full refund if cancelled more than 30 days before. Deposit retained if cancelled between 14 and 30 days. No refund inside 14 days.

Most Localandings experiences work in any weather — Madrid's museums, food markets and taverns are all indoors. For outdoor-heavy experiences like ALTways tours, a plan B is always prepared. If conditions make the experience impossible to deliver safely, a full refund or free reschedule is offered.

Every tour listing specifies exactly what's included — entrance tickets, tastings, and guide time are covered where stated. Transport to the meeting point, additional drinks, and gratuities are not included unless explicitly mentioned.

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, alcohol-free and lactose-free options are available across all food experiences. Just indicate requirements at booking or in the custom request form.

Yes. A full Spanish-compliant invoice is issued for all corporate bookings upon request.

Start by sending your booking request. We’ll fine-tune the itinerary together and confirm the final price. Once everything looks perfect, I’ll send you a secure payment link via Stripe. Major credit and debit cards are accepted.
